This includes siting, orientation, ecological landscape, weatherproofing and insulation, stormwater management, material selection, and optimal energy performance. |
The firm is a member of the US Green Building Council and Frank Lucas is a registered LEED professional. In 2000 the firm designed, at the time, the first high performance office building in Maryland. They recently completed green strategies involved in renovations and additions to a primary classroom building at Harford Community College. As certified by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program (LEED), the project was awarded a Silver Rating. |
